TOWER INTRODUCES INNOVATIVE PHOTOPOLYMER RELIEF

WASHOUT SOLUTION 

(Easton, PA)  Tower Products, Inc., a leading manufacturer of environmentally sensitive chemistry for the graphic arts industry has released SmartFlex Washout Solution NF, an innovative photopolymer relief washout solution for flexographic printers and trade shops using solvent washout plates.   

Utilizing a unique technology, SmartFlex Washout Solution NF, features faster processing speeds, the ability to keep processing machines cleaner and increased product mileage. The product performs well in both rotary and inline equipment. No equipment changes are generally needed to use the product.  Typically, washout rates can be reduced by up to 20%, with typical washout rates of 6-8 mils per minute.  SmartFlex Washout Solution NF also features a very mild odor and no reportable hazardous air pollutants (HAP’s).   

SmartFlex Washout Solution NF can be easily recovered by distillation because of its narrow boiling range without the use of other balancing chemistries. Cold reclamation is also easily achieved with this product.
