Tower Products Statement on the ILA Strike and Supply Chain Readiness
Tower Products is and has been aware of the strike action by International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA) members at U.S. East Coast and Gulf Coast ports prior to the beginning of the strike on Tuesday morning. We have been closely monitoring this situation and have proactively implemented measures to mitigate any potential disruptions to our operations.
The majority of Tower Products' supply chains remain unaffected due to our strong reliance on domestic sources. This includes an increasing share of raw materials derived from U.S.-sourced petrochemicals, which form a critical component of our manufacturing process. Additionally, all of our packaging and labeling materials are sourced from U.S.-based suppliers who, in turn, obtain their raw materials domestically.
For those few raw materials or pass-through items that could be impacted by the strike, Tower Products has already taken steps to ensure we have an adequate supply for at least the next two months. We remain confident that these precautions will allow us to continue meeting the needs of our customers without interruption.
At Tower Products, we prioritize the reliability of our supply chain to maintain our high standards of service and product availability. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and adapt as necessary to support our customers and ensure the continued flow of pressroom chemistry solutions to the market.
